Perhaps I was unclear?  I wasn't suggesting there be a popup asking if
you're really sure.
I was suggesting that the key sequence be changed to something that is
actually impossible to
press accidentally.  If such a change were made it would eliminate the
only argument for disabling the zap button, as far as I can tell.

(And yes, it's quite possible to press the current button accidentally)

I think the biggest problem with that proposal is keymap issues,
although that exists for c-a-bs too.
