Feel free to join #rpm.org @ freenode or the rpm-maint list if you have 
questions about file/package coloring. There are quite some tricky 
problems round coloring (aka multilib). Having a look at some parts of 
the yum code might also help. Feel free to bug me for the interesting 
pieces.
