I'm willing to help with testing. I have a Epson 4490, and Nikon Coolscan V
slide scanner.  The latter has been a trainwreck with sane for a long time,
but I'm told its finally possible to use it. So if we have a nice GUI front
end for scanning, i'll help out with testing.


Daniel,  who has 'vuescan' as the only closed source software on his 
         Fedora machine for which no practical open source replacement
         yet exists.
