using CD/DVD as media

hello,

I filed RFE bugs claiming that in fedora we have no way to use the DVD as a repo
including PK, yum cli,yumex, apt-get, smart, ...
I tried all the tools and non can add a DVD as a media repo

all my bugs were closed by Bug Zappers and asked me to reopen them
although it was clearly not solved

I was fooled by this update

which says
- Add UI helpers for media changing

so PK does support media changing but does not support media!!
this does not make sense to me

did I miss something
