yum 3.2.23 more than 10x slower than 3.2.21?!

Ok, so we came to the same conclusion.
Cost handling is inefficient.

Try with "-d 5", you will see
"excluding for cost:" lines
which do not fly out of the terminal, but every line takes a
little time. And we have hundreds/thousands of those...
