Nice query. I have a AVerTV Hybrid Volar HX(A827) and it's the same
situation. I use right now the driver/firmware from here:
http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/Support/Download.aspx?Action=search&Kind=APDriver&interface=3&signal=3&keyword=linux

Works nicely on my F-13, even with latest kernel from updates-testing.
