Bug 565223 -  getOutputFrom() failure terminates builds 

from the auto provides code in RPM.  There are tales of this happening
as far back as 2002, and appears to be some sort of race condition
that triggers infrequently, but hit several times during this FTBFS
run.

Any RPM internals experts care to look?
