gmime has been updated in rawhide to version 2.5. Jeff Steadfast, the  
author of gmime writes that 2.5 is API unstable, and has no idea why  
2.4 is gone from rawhide. I tried to reach Bastien Nocera -  the person  
who made the change - in order to understand the motif behind the  
change but without success so far.

Can anybody offer a suggestion what can be done in this case?
