The recommended and still working URL is this:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/expat/expat-2.0.1.tar.gz

You used the wrong hostname previously. Maybe an admonition should be
added to the SourceURL guidelines to emphasize that there hostname
contains an extra "s".
