build rpm packages such as Redhat/Fedora

Hello Fedora Devel List,

Im a newcomer with mock and rpmbuild.

How can I rebuild el6 packages such as Redhat?

My idea would be

yum install mock
useradd mockbuild
usermod -G mock mockbuild

mock rebuild -r epel-6-x86_64 /home/mockbuild/kernel-2.6.32-71.7.1.el6.src.rpm

Is that right? Should I use Fedora (13,14) or Redhat Enterprise Linux 6?
