What decision? I didn't make one. Please understand this: just because I
reply to a post which overall espouses the point of view X, it does not
mean that I espouse the point of view Not-X. I responded to a specific
assertion you made - that changing data files cannot possibly cause
major problems. I did not engage with the wider question of what
constitutes a good update validation process.
