If you refer to "Requires(hint)", that doesn't come out of nowhere either, 
but from our "friends" over at rpm5.org. (It's how they internally represent 
Suggests: and they also accept the Requires(hint): syntax.)

This has been used in Fedora packages in the expectation that it'd only be a 
matter of time until rpm.org RPM will also do something useful with this, as 
opposed to silently ignoring it as it did so far or erroring as it does now.
