There is some benefit in making it possible for distribution packagers
to be aware of the these sorts of  unit file writing pitfall
conversations.  I'm not saying the discussion needs to be here. But
cherry-picking some salient to make us aware of, once and awhile, with
some good meaty examples of sysv styled pitfalls wouldn't hurt. In
fact it could be quite instructive for many of us.  I think a lot of
us firmly entrenched at the distribution level have a lot of shell
scripting unlearning to do in how we approach service init.  As hard
as learning is, unlearning is that much harder. it can be difficult to
pick these conversations out of the chatter here or on the systemd
list (cant keep up with every conversation). That being said you might
consider organizing a compendium of such pitfalls and adding it to
your growing amount of tutorial documentation for a handy reference if
you haven't already begun doing that already (and you may have and
I've missed it).
