php-5.3.5-5.fc16, sphinx-0.9.9-2.fc14 - client version is higher than daemon version (client is v.1.23, daemon is v.1.22)

Hi,

I have a strange problem in php -> sphinx communication:

Mar 11 14:59:57 symfony [err] {Exception} searchd error: client
version is higher than daemon version (client is v.1.23, daemon is
v.1.22)

My system is based on F14 (with small changes) - because I had to use
MySQL 5.5 I had to build PHP. Previously, I had php-5.3.5-1 from F15 -
which was built without sphinx-0.9.9-2.fc14 package installed. Today I
built php-5.3.5-5.fc16 and have the same problem. I would be very
grateful if anyone could tell me what am I doing wrong. How can I
build php with proper sphinx version support? Or maybe the problem
lies elsewhere?

BTW. Sphinx from command line works perfectly fine, so I'm pretty sure
that this is not a problem with sphinx configuration.
