FESCo exists mostly to approve, yes.  If you want them to do something,
write up a proposal or atleast start a discussion with the goal of
eventually writing one.  Otherwise, you are just wasting time.

Then recognize that other people have limited time and your tone doesn't
seem to ack that at all.  This is the reason you are perceived to be
demanding and bullying people.
