Hello everybody,

My name is Ozan Caglayan and I'm from Istanbul/Turkey, age 26.

I was one of the core developers of the Pardus Linux distribution funded
and developed by the Turkish government. I became a part of the project in
2007 and worked as a paid developer until January 2012.

I became the primary maintainer of ~450 source packages namely the Linux
kernel, NM/MM stack, udev, *Kit, PulseAudio, ALSA, BlueZ,
foomatic/CUPS/Ghostscript/*, sane-backends, a bunch of hardware libraries,
ACPI tools, perl/python modules. During this period, I tried to be in
contact with upstream as much as possible and contributed to many open
source projects like Linux kernel, ALSA, D-Bus, NM, Busybox, KDE, etc.

In 2010, I became the release manager of our corporate edition which was
based on KDE 3.5.x and we released it in February 2011.

Now, I've migrated all my systems to F16 as I think that the Fedora/RedHat
developers do really a great job and guide the Linux world with nice moves
and innovations like systemd, dracut, /usrmove, automatic printer queue
configuration (back in 2008), etc, etc. My main repository to look up when
I maintain my packages back in Pardus was always Fedora repositories so it
was clear that my second distro would be Fedora.

Long story short, I'm here to help, maintain packages, and contribute as
much as possible to Fedora.

I was really an integration, patch, bugfix, debugging, backporting,
scripting guy back in Pardus. I'm fairly good at Python. I pretty suck in
GUI design/development. I already prepared some RPM packages that I'll put
on review ASAP to get my hands dirty.

Thanks,
Regards
