I've not heard truer words spoken.  At this late date if there isn't something already in the Release Notes that should be it would be good to just open a bug against the Release Notes.

By the way, if you don't know how the Release Notes are created it would be good to look at the Beats[0] which then get churned into DocBookXML and extruded through Publican to create the pretty final product.  The Docs Project is always looking for new/additional content writers for these Beats.
