You are right - this is bad idea.
I can't find mc by default :-)

The problem is that 
"https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers" 
propose check new package by this db.
And new contributors (as I am) put down application or library name and 
push Enter.
Naturally.
