IMHO, still missing https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=922988#c21

For the LiveCD, I had to manually

# mkdir /mnt/sysimage/sys

while installing.

Otherwise /sys was completely missing on the install root and the system could
not boot.
