I am giving up my maintainership for xmmsctrl, a command line utility to control xmms. I still use xmms a lot, but I don't have a need for xmmsctrl anymore. I was once using it to control xmms from a superkaramba (KDE) widget. It is stable, with dead upstream. Grab it if you are interested. Best, Orcan
