Hi man,
i'm still confused about your acting and speaking :)
Why did you a pull request to add a appdata file in mate upstream and waste other developers time?
On the other side why you classify mate as a non compatible desktop?
[rave at fedora-21 ~]$ gsettings get org.gnome.software compatible-projects
['GNOME', 'KDE', 'XFCE']

.....more than strange.
... please'll no mate haters ;)
