its a fact that there is no way to build a yaboot update period because
32 bit ppc has been dropped. I believe that apple and yellowdog ppc
hardware is not tested or supported by the ppc team. so you are very
much on your own there. just because you have an old build of a package
installed is not a valid reason to keep it active when it can not be
built or supported. any upgraded system will not automatically be
migrated over.
