There have been many problems in the past which I think I've gone into
elsewhere.

Current things that are being worked on:

I have one set of scls built:
http://copr-fe.cloud.fedoraproject.org/coprs/toshio/SCL-Test-Python2.4/

Have to push the lessons from that into the guideline draft and also have to
update it with some more discussion that happened between Jan and myself
(after testing that those proposals will work).

Current build of scl-utils with patches I've found necessary applied:
http://copr-fe.cloud.fedoraproject.org/coprs/toshio/SCL-Test-scl-utils/

The filesystem paths patch from that is a blocker but seems to be stalled:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1066665

The byte compile patch I have to work on incorporating some feedback from
Jan before trying to push it upstream.

I also need to build something that makes use of statefiles and conf files.
to test this out. mariadb or a postgresql package are good candidates.
hhorak had mentioned testing this simply by changing the paths in a package
(rather than changing scl-utils) and the general strategy works.

That's pretty much where we're at.
