That this was the first item on the list suggests that
fedora-release-standard is not the right name. :) In fact, most of the
names on your list are antonyms of "standard."

Not a good name for spins. This sounds like Gentoo.

This one makes it sound like not running a product is a bad thing. Let's
avoid this one.

All the other names are fine. I still like fedora-release-generic the
best. My favorite color of paint is Myrtle Green. It's a nice color. [1]
