Harald was saying that this is one of the things he wants to do but can’t because both the messages he wants and doesn’t want to record have the same priority.

I haven’t been able to find any obvious difference between cron-related and gdm-related session open/close messages, but I have only given it about 5 minutes.  Can you actually propose a working filter that would distinguish between these?
