I think it is already lost by all the DT_NEEDED libpython versions anyway.

Probably but I do not plan to change this in this off-trunk patch as all of
this build-id support I am rewriting these weeks from scratch anyway.

but with all the changes in recent years I am not sure if one really should
not popen some commands. librpm is breaking any programs linking to it anyway:
