nothing provides /bin/python needed by mercurial-3.5-1.fc23.x86_64

I'm stuck on this (again).  According to advice here:

I just needed to use
Requires: /usr/bin/python

But I tried changing 

Requires: python

to 

Requires: /usr/bin/python

and it doesn't work.  Somehow I still get:

(64bit) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit) libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.4)(64bit)

I don't know where this is coming from or how to fix it.
