Well, I am just trying to raise awareness on a potential problem.

A brief and quick of the DPMA's (Deutsches Patent und Markenamt - German
Patent and Trademark Authority) on-line database tells NeXT is still a
registered trademark, registered for Nice Class 9, by "NeXT Computer,
Inc., Redwood City Calif., US" [1]

In other words, there is a potential problem lurking, IMHO.
