hopefully never until someone offers to do the work on a *magnitude* of 
machines running fine for many years with multiple interfaces, firewall 
rules and routings and no need for a "network manager" to migrate all 
that configs regression free while in hot-production

on servers and static machines you don't need any dynamic network 
configuration
