I would love to be able to keep the spec files "same as possible".
$ appstream-util --version
Version:	0.2.5

What is the minimum version ?

Can someone give me a simple spec file conditional to achieve:

if appstream-util --version >= 0.2.5
{
  appstream stuff
}
