Affluence is relative. If you don't have money, you don't buy new stuff,
especially to replace working stuff.

> if buying every decade a new computer is too uch just don't demand

What's magical about a decade? Nothing. It's arbitrary. People last more than
a decade. Cars last more than a decade. Houses last more than a decade.
Refrigerators last more than a decade. No good reason a PC can't last more
than a decade before polluting a landfill.

You seem unable to understand that there are far more than a few easily
classifiable use cases, or that bleeding edge doesn't imply being first to
tell computer users (or let them find out the hard way) theirs are too old
for continuing to use the distro they've been using and are used to and/or
prefer and/or shared with those they need or want to maintain maximum
compatibility with.
