At the very least, if you do insert it, you want to make stubs for the
GNOME, XFCE, and CLI sections.  The current best example of this is
here:

If people want to focus on a specific desktop environment, that is OK,
as long as the others get covered by $someone.

We are also not planning any new content for the F8 guide.  Just push
to publish and move on.
