If you're interested in working on the User Guide, we can definitely  
take your insight.  It seems that there's a sort of paradox in writing  
beginner friendly documentation, because the more you do it and the  
more you learn, the more you fall into un-beginner-friendly jargon and  
terminology.  In that light, a few of us are working on revamping the  
User Guide to make it more beginner friendly, and your insight and  
writing ability are definitely welcome.
