A reminder to writers

With apologies for joining the conversation in the middle...   In some
cases, "see" might be considered part of an idiom.  In others, it
definitely isn't (see the definition of "idiom")(see also Merriam's
Dictionary and Webster's Dictionary use of the phrase "see also" (i.e.,
it's an accepted practice)).  Note: idioms tend to be phrases.

If the group decides that "see" is an idiom, I won't argue.  However, it
was the justification that I found a bit offensive.  Following that logic,
we'll need to exclude homonyms also (e.g., sight, site, and cite).  In
short, he might have been headed in the right direction but for the wrong
reason (now that's an idiom).
