Name : puppet
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 0.25.4
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://puppet.reductivelabs.com/
Summary : A network tool for managing many disparate systems
Description :
Puppet lets you centrally manage every important aspect of your system using a
cross-platform specification language that manages all the separate elements
normally aggregated in different files, like users, cron jobs, and hosts,
along with obviously discrete elements like packages, services, and files.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
The update from 0.24.x to 0.25.x brings many, many changes and improvements to
puppet. The upstream release notes cover them in detail:
http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/ReleaseNotes Of note is that 0.25.x
clients do not work with 0.24.x masters, so it is important to update the master
before or at the same time as clients.
