That is kinda misleading. First I didn't deny anything, the decision was
done collectively at the regional meeting. Second we didn't deny it. We
approved it with the condition that the event owner needs to get an
additional approval from the Fedora budget owner (Ruth or Robyn) because
we didn't know if our budget draft would be approved and moreover this
expense wasn't even in the draft, so two levels of uncertainty.
Because they couldn't get an approval from Ruth or Robyn for two weeks,
we just took the risk and approved it at the next regional meeting.

I told everyone to follow our budget drafts for now and we also approve
expenses that are not particularly planned in the drafts, but somehow
wisely. We can't spend way over the budget. Let's assume the drafts are
approved and behave accordingly. That's probably the best way to go now.
