New hplip seems broken

Having a problem with printing today I tried to open the toolbox - nothing.  I 
tried hp-setup, 

[root at anne-laptop ~]# hp-setup
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/hp-setup", line 44, in <module>
    from base.g import *
ImportError: No module named base.g

Looks like problems
