Date format

I was looking to change the date format as I prefer the "U.S." date format 
(i.e. MMDDYY instead of DDMMYY) but I can't seem to find a "U.S." date 
format in the system settings. Is there any reason NOT to include a U.S. 
date format? Would it be possible to have the KDE developers make that an 
*option*? Of course, I wouldn't want to force our European friends to use 
that format, since that's not what they're used to, but I also don't like 
having to use the European format since it's not what *I* am used to. :-)

Guess I ought to file a Bugzilla request, but I thought I'd mention it here 
in case this is an easy fix. :-)
