kcalc number pad 2 is not working

No silly question, but it works fine in every other application, maybe in kmail 
2 (normal keyboard) or 2 (numberpad).

The 2 gets highlighted, get's this glow, but nothing else happened, i can even 
see it moving when I type, but the 2 doesn't show up.
