Why can't I activate my wireless card?

I tried the 150.10.5 last night and it seemed to be accepted.  I saw a long 
list of files said to be extracted.  I didn't get the interface working 
though.  I'll work on it again when I get in this evening, but I'd appreciate 
any hints of things to check.
