Hi Patrick,

Yes, I misunderstood your question, sorry about that. For me Chrome is 
accessing kwallet without asking for a password. What do you have in KDE 
Wallet Configuration -> tab Access Control -> kdewallet -> Chrome as policy? 
Mine says "Always Allow".
