KDE desktop icons disappear regularly

I do not know what is an "activity" but yes I am using the "Folder"
view ("Dossier" in French) and in "location" ("Emplacement" in
French), I chose "Display the desktop folder" ("Afficher le dossier du
bureau").
I know that we can have a component on the desktop showing the desktop
folder but I am not using this.
