I know it's probably too late now, but for future reference... should I
have proposed this as a blocker bug?
firewalld is suppose to the be "default firewall solution for Fedora"

The tray applet is the method used to configure, but isn't available for
KDE Plasma.

Is the idea that since KDE isn't the default desktop for Fedora, that
blocker doesn't apply?  If you read the wiki for firewalld you
will see that when it was proposed as the default, work was done to ensure
it would work with KDE.  Of course for Plasma 5,
that wasn't done.

You can also of course go to kickoff and launch firewall configuration, but
it's kind of obvious (at least IMO) from reading the
wiki the intended method to check status and configure was the applet.
It's prominently listed in the testing methodology.

What do you folks think?
