Plasma 5 as a daily driver?

I wouldn't be overly alarmist about it.  I've had my issues with Plasma5
but now have switched to LXQt/Kwin (which use Qt5 and KDE Frameworks 5) and
am able to use Qt and KDE apps with no issues.

For me at least, the issues I experienced had the effect of driving home
the new nomenclature.  ;-)

I get frustrated also, but I guess what I'm trying to say is don't throw
the baby out with the bath water.
