What's the actual program that needs gtk1?  Can it be modified to use
gtk2 instead?  I haven't seen a program "in the wild" that needs gtk1
for ages.

virt-top is 'top' for virtual machines.  Tiny program with many
powerful monitoring features, net stats, disk stats, logging, etc.
