More notes:

Ignore the tarballs etc on the SF site, and go instead directly to
their subversion repository:

  http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=202880

Use what is in mingw-w64/trunk/

Build target for binutils/GCC is (confusingly) x86_64-pc-mingw32.

Binutils and GCC patches are all in upstream.

W32API and runtime are in the subversion repo.

Everything is public domain (as with MinGW) except for a few DirectX
headers which come from Wine and are LGPLv2+.

Look at their build script
(mingw-w64-doc/howto-build/mingw-w64-howto-build.txt in SVN and
experimental/buildsystem/makebuildroot.sh) to see how they build it.

Rich.

virt-top is 'top' for virtual machines. Tiny program with many
powerful monitoring features, net stats, disk stats, logging, etc.
