It seems that the recent changes to livecd-creator fixes the problem
with failing resize2fs at least partly. Yesterdays images are way
better:
kde-i386-20090824.15.iso   24-Aug-2009 17:13  629M  
kde-x86_64-20090824.15.iso 24-Aug-2009 17:34  635M
