This is what I actually ended up doing. I edited the create_user 
firstboot module so it now also adds the user to the audio and jackuser 
groups. I also updates the wording so that it says "add user to 
Administartor and Audio groups". This works out really well, since it 
both informs the user and gives them the option not to do it (in case 
they feel it's a security risk). Hopefully it will be an approved way 
of doing it :)
