MediaWiki's patrol feature

A lot of you people don't know about this feature since you're not wiki
admins. But here goes.

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Patrolled_edits

I recently posted about lurking Special:RecentChanges, but if multiple
people work together on this medium of checking every edit, it would
make it a lot simpler for everyone.

Those who can patrol edits will see a red, bold exclamation point to
every non-patrolled edit.

My basic concept would be to create a patrollers group and the higher-up
wiki people to it. These people would then be able to patrol (or, in a
sense, "approve" edits).

Thoughts?
