ok. here we go:

• OS 10.5.8 (intel Mac)

• a random selection of OpenType fonts from different manufacturers:
– ITC Barcelona Std 
– Berthold Formata Pro 
– Adobe Jenson Pro 
– Linotype Avenir Std 
– Monotype Gill Sans Pro

• Only the PDF-export is affected.
Generating a PDF through the Apple OS print dialogue works fine though. But that worked fine in 
previous versions  of  OOo too.
